Our Story

Harnessing advance satellite capabilities, the knowledge pool of agricultural and meteorological experts, and the extensive networks of our business partners, we deliver precision farming advisory and market access to individual smallholders across the country. 





In 2018, Village Link has been awarded a special grant from Netherland Space Agency to utilise the advance of satellite data in innovation for agriculture. VLSS (VillageLink Satelite service) is an application that will allow the Company to aggregate, model and visualize data feeds that are sourced from various sources containing geodata, geospatial modelling, agri-related satellite imagery, satellite based specific aperture radar (SAR) data as well as aggregated feeds of user data sourced from the company’s mobile applications. The solution will produce output visualization and reporting that will cater to two bespoke business requirements namely, customizable business to business products and reports and business to consumer products and reports. 

It B2C service is ready by Dec 2019 and B2C platform and dashboard is expected to roll out in Jan 2020. 

Htwet Toe



Htwettoe (High Yield) was officially launched in April 2018. Htwettoe is an innovative agri-mobile application for the farmers of Myanmar that aims to build a community between the farmers and agricultural professionals on a single platform. Htwet Toe brings a unique solution for Myanmar farmers to get the information about their land and agricultural advice from professionals through just a few keystrokes on their smartphone. 

Only year after launched, 350,000 farmers have been downloaded the App and by October 2019, the number of users has passed 450,000. The agronomist team have answered and help farmers to solve more than 45,000 problems through the Q&A feature of the App. The technical advices and market information update have been viewed more than 20 million times. 

After 5 releases, Htwettoe App has improved substantially to become more user friendly and relevant to farmer day to day life. From an information focused platform, Htwettoe transforms to be a service provider and linkages among farming communities. 

Site Pyo

2017  April

Site Pyo (Cultivation) is an agricultural smartphone application (app) launched in March 2016. Site Pyo was among the first Application for farmers in Myanmar. As of December 2016, the app had over 150,000 users. Site Pyo is designed to improve farmers’ lives by providing information that improves yields such as daily weather and crop guidelines. To date, more than 250,000 farmers have used the Application to access information.
